Pets stray from home for many reasons. A stray pet may be picked up or reported by a concerned member of the community, or by an animal control officer. Our shelter is here to safely take in stray pets every day and at all hours. We hope we can reunite every lost pet with their family quickly and easily! |
If you've lost your pet, you can file a report with us on-line so that we can compare the pets in our care with your description and notify you if we find a possible match. We do, however, recommend that you visit our shelter as often as possible to look for yourself, as you know your pet best and may better recognize a pet who may have lost weight or have common characteristics.

Owners or concerned citizens may need to turn over their pets or stray animals to the Shelter. Separations of animals and their owners can be very traumatic events, and the Shelter staff try to provide empathy and caring during the transition process. A separate entrance titled “Admit” is located to the right of the main entrance and should be used by anyone bringing an animal to the Shelter.
