Our goal:
To nurture a sense of compassion and respect for living beings through enriching activities, educational curriculum, and hands-on experiences that are rewarding for kids and animals alike!
F.A.Q.’s About Camp:
Q.
How do I sign up for camp?
A.
Just fill out both sides of the registration sheet and bring, mail, or fax it to the Bay Area Humane Society with your payment.
Q.
Do sessions fill up?
A.
Yes, they do!! To make sure you get the sessions that you want, send in your application early. Each session is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q.
Will campers get to take care of the animals?
A.
Children will interact with animals each day! However, campers won’t need to clean up after the critters...we leave that to our Animal Care experts. Encounters are planned with the animals' best interest in mind, hence we cannot guarantee any specific animal, but kids will definitely get cuddle time with a variety of animals each day!
Q.
Can campers bring a friend?
A.
Of course! If you contact us at (920)469-3110 ext 18, we can send a friend an application. All campers must be registered before attending camp.
Q.
What is the cost?
A.
$115 per five-day session.
Q.
How will I know if I got into a session?
A.
You will receive a confirmation letter with valuable information that you will need for camp...what to wear, what to bring, where to go, and when to get there!
Q.
What if I need to cancel?
A.
Refunds for summer camp are available until July 1st, minus a $10.00 processing fee.
